What you send out has a funny habit of finding its way back.

That was the thought behind X3.

Energy. Consequences. Karma. The things we do to other people and the things we eventually have to answer for ourselves.

Although, somewhere along the way, it also became an album about confidence, sex, witchcraft, anger, self-worth and finally reaching the point where you stop explaining yourself to people who had already decided who you were.

It isn’t especially polite.

I wasn’t especially interested in making it polite.

There are songs on here for the moment you remember who the fuck you are, songs for walking away, and songs for putting far too loud in the car because somebody has annoyed you.

I release all of this independently. No big label behind it and no machine deciding what I should make next.

So if you buy the physical album directly from me, thank you. It genuinely helps me keep doing this on my own terms.
