I wrote Seven Deadly Spells around seven things we’re usually taught to be ashamed of. Pride, wrath, envy, greed, gluttony, sloth and lust.

I’ve never believed any of them were as simple as good or bad.

This album came out of the same shadow work as the book. Religion, anger, temptation, guilt, power, rebellion and all the parts of ourselves we’re usually encouraged to hide. Some of it is serious. Some of it takes the piss. Quite a lot of it got me into trouble.

It was also the album that introduced a lot of you to me, which still feels slightly mad.

Tracks:

1. The Devil Made Me Do It
2. A Shadow Gospel
3. Blood & Fire
4. Hallelujah I Refuse Ya
5. Your God Won’t Save You
6. Fuck Being a Princess
7. Sinner

I’m completely independent, so buying my music directly from me genuinely makes a difference. It helps me keep making things without waiting for somebody else to approve them first.
