You do not need forgiveness for surviving what was meant to destroy you.

I called this album Redemption, but it was never really about being forgiven.

Not by them, anyway.

Sometimes nobody apologises.

Sometimes nothing gets properly fixed.

Sometimes you don’t get the ending you deserved and eventually you have to stop waiting for somebody else to give it to you.

These songs came from that place.

The moment after the fire when everything goes quiet and you realise you’re still standing. Changed, definitely. Scarred, probably. But still here.

Blood Deep Roots. Burn It Down. Rise Like Smoke. She’s a Little Fucked Up.

Four songs about anger, survival, rebuilding and finding your way back to yourself without needing anyone else to approve of the person you became.

This is not their version of redemption.

It is yours.

I’m an independent artist, so every physical album bought directly from me helps fund whatever comes next.

And judging by the last few years, that could be absolutely anything.
